QS Community is a host and in allyship with 4th Sundays POGM Care Circles.

(POGM/People of the Global Majority space is an additional group within our community for the queer POC/People of Color community to gather.)

By attending this circle you agree to honor and respect the 2S LGBTQIA+ POGM/POC spaces by only entering and attending if you self identify as a POGM person.

You are invited to join us

Each month TanyaMarck & Nick will create a custom practice for our group. Our themes may follow the seasons of the year, the phases of the moon and stars, or a particular spiritual practice or chant. Below is more information about some of the practices you may experience.

Mindfulness & guided meditation:
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you’re sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.

Breathwork:
Breathwork is the mindful connection to your body + systems along with your inhale and exhale, a concept descended from the ancient practice Pranyayama, a Sanskrit word which has been translated as ‘extension of the life force’ or ‘breath control.’ Breathwork is the exploration of inhaling and exhaling techniques. Breathwork is a tool for regulating, releasing, receiving, resetting, and grounding your energy in your body + systems.

“I really appreciate the freedom to engage in my own way. This [virtual] format of [being] together, but in our own spaces, really works for me.”

Honoring Bandwidth

We encourage attendees to honor their bandwidth and privacy in a way that feels good to you:

– muting your microphone
– turning off your camera
– turning your attention away from screens

*As a community, we strive to make our circles accessible for all. For those who cannot attend live, we want to make recordings available for practice at a later time via recordings.

Recording starts during the practice portion and has only TanyaMarck + Nick’s voice. Recording will stop before the group share.

If anyone still does not consent to recording during the practice portion, participants are invited to send TanyaMarck or Nick a private message in chat to opt out of consent.
